All orders are accepted and Goods supplied to the following express terms and conditions of sale.
Any order placed by a Customer shall constitute an offer of contract upon these express terms and conditions.
Any typographical, clerical or other error or omissions in any sales literature, quotation, price list acceptance of offer, dispatch note, invoice or other document or information (whether written or oral) issued by the Company shall be subject to correction without liability on the part of the Company.
Price lists, catalogues and other advertising medium used by the Company are intended only as an indication as to price and range of goods offered and no descriptions, prices or other particulars contained therein shall be binding on the Company.
The Company means Visual Information Services Limited (or VIS).
The Customer means the person, company or firm who accepts a quotation from the Company for supply of Goods or services.
The Conditions means the standard terms and conditions of sale set out in this document.
The Goods means the Goods which the Company is to supply in accordance with these Conditions.
The returned part must be complete and free from any physical damage.
All Logic Boards must be returned with all processor chips and ROM SIMMs fitted (where applicable).
VIS reserves the right to refuse any part for exchange should its returns criteria not be met.
An advanced exchange service is available on request.
Advanced exchange parts are supplied on condition that a repairable part is returned within seven working days.
An RMA number will be issued with the supplied part and must be quoted with the returned item.
Should the Customer fail to return a part within the required timescale a fee will be levied equal to the cost of a replacement unit.
Should the returned unit be deemed unrepairable then the cost of a replacement part will be invoiced.
Parts ordered specially by the Customer are to be paid for in full.
Refunds for specially ordered parts are not normally given.
Such refunds will only be given at the discretion of VIS and will incur a restocking fee of 50% of the price (excluding VAT where applicable).
Normal payment terms are:
30-day credit accounts are available on application.
All prices are exclusive of UK VAT unless otherwise stated.
VIS reserves the right to alter prices without notice.
Credit Card transactions may incur a surcharge.
UK: VAT will be levied at the rate current at the time of issue of any Invoices for all UK transactions.
International: There is no VAT levied on International invoices.
Prices quoted for Goods do not include delivery charges.
All Shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser (including any insurance) for destinations outside of the UK.
The cost of shipping within the UK will be quoted at the time of order.
Delivery dates quoted are estimates only and the Company shall not be responsible for any delays howsoever caused.
Goods being returned due to a mistake on the part of the purchaser will be incur a restocking/handling charge.
This charge is calculated as follows. A minimum charge of £5.00 (+VAT where applicable) ,or 20% of the credit value, whichever is the greater.
Carriage for all returned items is the responsibility of the purchaser.
All returns must be accompanied by an RMA number or they may be refused. An RMA number will be allocated on request.
All parts are supplied with a limited 90 day "return-to-base" warranty.
All goods supplied remain the property of Visual Information Service Ltd. until payment has been received in full.
VIS reserves the right to supply new or refurbished parts at their discretion.
VIS offers its Customers a free diagnostic and quotation service.
The service is free so long as the Customer proceeds with the repair as quoted.
However, should the Customer decide not to proceed with the quoted repair, a service charge of £25 to £45.00 (+VAT where applicable) will be levied
